Mixed-media artist and toymaker, Mr. Walters has exhibited his work locally and internationally. His whimsical, character-based artwork is inspired by mythology, cartoons, magic, toys, folklore, and folk art. Recently, Mr. Walters has been exploring these themes in sculpture, incorporating found objects, creating toy-like characters and magical worlds.
Mr. Walters is also known for his personal brand, Nerfect which he produces fun items such as artist-made plush toys, stickers, art prints, enamel pins, and other novelties incorporating his illustrations and characters, including his long-running line of pug characters.
